2010 FASCAR Thunder Cup Series Rules (Thoughts)

Good Day FTCS Drivers,

I have been working on the 2010 FTCS Rules and I thought I would let everyone have a chance to look at them before making them Official.

There will be only one Real-Trophy handed out starting next season and that is the 2010 Thunder Cup Champion. The other Trophies or Awards will be posted on your Driver Page.

There has been a few change and they are has fellowed:

NEW-STAND BY DRIVER:

After we have our 1st DNP of the Season, the 1st Driver on the waiting list will be called up and will be on stand by for the rest of the 2010 season. This driver will be allowed to start submitting picks for the races, the picks that his/her pick will only count if a full-time driver misses their 2nd race of the 2010 season.

NEW-PRIMARY SPONSOR:

You will be allowed to keep your primary sponsor has long as you want to.

NEW-ASSOCIATED SPONSORS:
The number of associated sponsors will be determined on where you finish in the 2010 Total Race Points Standings.

NEW-ROOKIE OF THE YEAR AWARD:
If a Rookie Driver gets called up after the Chase Starts they will have the option to drive in all of the last 10 races or opt to start driving with 5 races to go which would be the Martinsville race on 10-24-10. In order to be eligible for the 2011 FTCS Rookie of the Year Award.

You can see the 2010 FTCS Rules Here:

I like the standby rule and the ROTY rule. The associate sponsor rule is nice.

I liked the Primary Sponsor deal we had, where you could lose your sponsor if you didnt do well enough.

Race to the Dash Award 2010.

The 1st year of the Dash Championship I had 10 Contenders in this.
This year we have 23 Contenders.

So, I wonder how many Contenders we should have for the 2010 Race to the Dash Award?

Should it be everyone that didn't make the Chase to the Thunder Cup or should we go with 10 or 12 Drivers making it.

I liked the Primary Sponsorship rule from this season, it did make the Owner's Points battle interesting there. As for the Dash I think the drivers that finish 13-25 or 13-30 in the standings after the Richmond race could make up the Dash drivers.

I will have to agree with William & say the next 12 Drivers 13-24 should run for the Dash Championship.
